My old band, Spiller, from back in the late 90s, early 2000s are back! Marcus and I have asked Vinnie Cosentino from Palentine and Lukali to fill the drum seat and we're off an running. We've got a show at the New World Brewery on April 7th to celebrate.

Gold Leader (which was released on Super6 Records way back when) is an extremely charming set and marked by crunchy, grungy guitars all buoyed by Marcus McCord’s bouncy, yet brawny bass lines. It’s all heavily garnished with the band’s penchant for sunny harmonies and infectious hooks that seemed destined for 90s radio gold. Spiller never “made it big,” but their return (guitarist Scott Harrel is no loner in the lineup and original drummer Pete Joseph has been replaced by Palantine frontman Vinnie Cosetino) is welcome breath of fresh air for sure. Two bands, established surf-classic rock revivalists The Semis and up and coming St. Pete garage-rock sensation Michael Christmas, are set to play support on this must-see bill.
